We are now accepting grant applications from teachers and administrators.

Our motto, “Striving for Excellence in our Children’s Education” is the tenet by which the Ho-Ho-Kus Education Foundation has based its efforts since its inception. Through a thoughtful and comprehensive process, grant proposals, submitted by faculty, are reviewed and evaluated for approval. The Ho-Ho-Kus Education Foundation has awarded over $1.25 million in grants, varying in size and scope.  Below are just some of the ways we have supported our children’s classrooms:

  • Hydroponics planting unit and the cultivation and development of the HHK garden

  • Assistive technology in reading and writing such as Learning Ally, Forte, and Kinesthetic Classroom apparatus to assist alternative learning styles

  • GS TV Studio and 3D printers to facilitate interactive learning and engagement

  • Supporting the whole student through author visits and workshops, Educate 2B/Zensational Kids Wellness program, musical instruments, photography class, TV studio, and playground improvements

  • Technology supplementation such as a laptop lab and new computer lab, smartboards, desktop replacements, and document camera

  • Chromebooks for all students, grades 5-8

  • National Geographic Giant Traveling Maps for Social Studies, and supplemental texts for Science and Math

If you have additional documentation to support your grant application, please email it to Anne Marie Darling at annemariebdarling@gmail.com at time of submission.
